Diversified Information Technologies’ Facility Receives National Association of Information Destruction Certification - (03/25/2016)
--Diversified Information Technologies’ Benson, N.C., facility meets the information destruction industry’s highest standard for security, employee screening, operational destruction process and insurance, and has earned certification from the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID).

FNCB Collects 1,000 Pounds of Food for Area Pantries: Customers and Employees participate in Christmas in July Food Drive - (08/13/2014)
--First National Community Bank (FNCB), locally based for more than 100 years, collected over 1,000 pounds of food for area food pantries and soup kitchens through the recently completed “Christmas in July” food drive.
     
      Throughout the month of July, in partnership with WBRE and WYOU TV, FNCB collected canned goods, non-perishable food items and monetary donations at each of their 19 community offices in Lackawanna, Luzerne and Wayne counties as well as employee administrative centers.
      The donations helped stock the shelves at food pantries run by Catholic Social Services in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Click here for more.




The Commonwealth Medical College To Hold White Coat Ceremony on Friday, August 8 - (08/07/2014)
--Scranton, PA –The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) will hold a White Coat Ceremony for its Class of 2018 on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1:00p.m at Scranton Preparatory School’s St. Robert Bellarmine Theater, 1000 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA. The event is free and open to the public.
     
      One hundred medical students admitted to TCMC’s sixth doctor of medicine (MD) class will receive their white coats, a rite of passage that welcomes new medical students into the profession and emphasizes the importance of compassion and professionalism. Students will recite an oath, which represents their public acknowledgment of their responsibilities as future physicians and their obligations to their future patients. Click here for more.

--Jeans for a Cause raises funds for St. Hedwig’s Veterans Village First National Community Bank (FNCB), locally-based for over 100 years, recently raised $401 for St. Hedwig’s Veterans Village in Kingston with proceeds from a bank wide “Jeans for a Cause” dress down day.
